MYSTERY DINNER PARTY IN GLENDALE

 CHERISHING OUR VALLEY                        2013

The Museum just acquired this interesting photograph of a lawn party held in Glendale. The image with a serial number 078, is among many that we receive on a regular basis that needs detective work.

"A dinner party in Glendale the home of Josephine and Claude Warley - members of central congregation. They have a lovely home - indoor swimming pool, servants' quarters and tennis courts back of outdoor fireplace. We are facing the back of the house. Has 4 bedrooms and 5 baths.
Glen is in background right side of my head - Everyone didn't get into the picture."

Note of Interest about the San Fernando Valley -  "California State University Northridge CSUN enrolls more than 36,000 students. It ranks 10th in the United States in awarding bachelor's degrees to under-represented minority students. CSUN has a huge impact on the lives of Latinos. It is 5th in the nation and 1st in California for bachelor's degrees for Latinos; and 10th in the USA for master's degrees to Hispanic students.
