BUILDING A GREAT MUSEUM FOR THE SAN FERNANDO VALLEY

Continuing The Museum's ongoing program, "Narrating Lives" Oral Histories of the San Fernando Valley, Lee Davis project director had some very special guests at our July 8th Board meeting. Lee invited leaders of the San Fernando Valley veterans organization, Wings of Wendys, to discuss ways The Museum can include veterans' histories with upcoming exhibits in our new Northridge space. A special emphasis will made to allow Valley school children to learn about the sacrifices made by veterans and their families for American freedoms. The vets will also be included in The Museum's Speakers Series.
