Celebrate LA Mural Day at the PACOIMA MURAL WALKING TOUR (10/17/15)

Celebrate LA Mural Day with us at the Pacoima Mural Walking Tour! 

This is a guided walking tour of 10 murals along Van Nuys Blvd. Learn the history of murals in the Northeast Valley, hear the inspiration and meet the artists. Tour guides are local artists that have been involved in the creation of the murals. Special guests speakers on selected tours. 

Wear comfortable shoes. Bring umbrellas, caps, sunscreen and/or water bottles anything you may need to make the walk comfortable for you. The walk spans from Brandley Ave to Telfair Ave a little over 1 mile.
After the tour Myke's Cafe is offering a free agua fresca (pinapple, fruit punch or horchata) with meal purchase to tour attendees.

Parking: Street Parking is available along Van Nuys Blvd. (Please Read Parking Signs!)

Speaker Series: Artist, Anne Bowman & Pop-Up Art Mart (ENTER THE RAFFLE!)



This month's speaker series features oil painter Anne Bowman. Bowman is a local San Fernando Valley oil painter and retired educator with a BS, MS and teaching credential from UCLA. She always knew she wanted to paint but life got in the way, so she started her career in the arts after she retired. Bowman is inspired by nature and the people she meets in her life. Come see her latest paintings and learn more about Bowman on Saturday, September 26, 2015 from 2pm to 3pm.
