Today at 2pm - Artist Speaker Series with Cass Snyder

The Museum of the San Fernando Valley invites you to meet featured artist Cass Snyder.

As a child, Snyder used the scraps from her Grandfather's stained glass projects to create mosaics. Now she carefully and meticulously hand cuts each piece of stained glass to produce a vibrant color combination that dazzles. Snyder is able to make anything from small wall hangings to large-scale tabletops with the assistance of her husband, a skilled craftsman who makes the bases necessary for her artwork.

Learn more about Snyder's creative mosaics on Saturday, September 30th from 2-3pm.

TICKETS: $10 (Includes one raffle ticket, light snacks, and drinks)
PRINTED TICKETS ARE REQUIRED.

About National Drive Electric Week
Presented by Plug In America, Sierra Club and the Electric Auto Association, National Drive Electric Week, September 9-17, 2017, is a nationwide celebration to heighten awareness of today's widespread availability of plug-in vehicles and highlight the benefits of all-electric and plug-in hybrid-electric cars, trucks, motorcycles, and more. They are fun to drive, are less expensive and more convenient to fuel than gasoline vehicles, are better for the environment, promote local jobs, and reduce our dependence on foreign oil. Are you considering going electric? Come talk to owners who have successfully done so.
